Riders of the Steppes at Flying Heels Rodeo in Granby, CO

The Westernaires Riders of the Steppes team make their appearance at the Colorado tradition that is the Flying Heels Rodeo in picturesque Granby, Colorado. The team will kick off the rodeo with their Grand Entry, then return later in the evening with daring stunts and pyramids performed on dashing horses that will knock your socks off.

Rodeo has been a mainstay in Granby since 1943. Pull your boots on and come join Granby as they celebrate the sport of rodeo every Saturday night in June and July, plus July 4th.

Ticket prices: Adults $20, kids 6-12 $15, seniors $10, and Military are free with ID.

Flying Heels Rodeo in Granby, CO

The world-renown Westernaires Varsity Big Red Team and their select specialty acts will bring the heat at the Independence Day celebration at the Flying Heels Rodeo in beautiful Granby, Colorado. Come see what many rodeo producers have labeled as the “Best Precision Mounted Drill Team at Speed.” 

Rodeo has been a mainstay in Granby since 1943. Pull your boots on and come join Granby as they celebrate the sport of rodeo every Saturday night in June and July, plus July 4th weekend.

Westernaires will be performing in the rodeos on the evenings of July 3rd, 4th, and 5th. On July 3rd, catch the supersonic spectacle of the Westernaires El Latigo del Diablo act. On July 4th, audiences will be entertained by the Freedom Riders trick riding team of Westernaires. And on July 5th, the independence of riders performing at Liberty will be on full display in their act.

Catch Westernaires the morning of July 4th in the annual Granby July 4th Parade in downtown Granby, which starts at 11:00AM at Agate Avenue (U.S. 40) & 5th and ends at Mesa St & W. Topaz Avenue.

Ticket prices: Adults $25, kids 6-12 $15, seniors $10, and Military are free with ID.

The Park Hill 4th of July Parade is a family-friendly event in its 12th year running!

The parade begins at 1:30PM and runs along 23rd Avenue for approximately one mile from Dexter Street to Krameria Street. A street fair concludes the parade on the 2200 block of Kearney St. (between 22nd and 23rd Aves.), with food, music, kids activities, and more.

Catch the Westernaires Trick & Fancy Ropers and Batons teams as they perform for the visitors of Douglas County Fair’s Unbridled Rodeo. The amazing and entertaining tricks from these performers are interactive fun for all ages.

Westernaires is proud to be a part of this accessible rodeo and fair experience designed for designed for individuals with disabilities, lower mobility, and/or sensory sensitivity. This event offers a fun and welcoming environment filled with interactive activities like roping, barrel racing, and even riding a real mechanical bull—just like a traditional rodeo, but tailored for all abilities.

Evergreen Westernaires Show

As part of Evergreen Rodeo’s festivities, the entire Westernaires performance division appears in Evergreen for a ticketed extravaganza show.

See precision drills at speed, along with thrilling horse acrobatics, daring trick riding, trick and fancy roping, liberty riding, a dressage exhibition, and much more.  It's great family entertainment that frequently leaves the grandstands stomping their feet and clapping their hands with delight!

Entertainment begins at at 12:30PM. Gates open at Noon. Tickets are $15 each for adults and kids ages 13 and up. $5 for kids ages 5 to 12. Kids ages 4 and under are free. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the gate, but we highly recommend avoiding the lines by purchasing your tickets in advance here on the Westernaires website.

The Colorado State Fair has been host to countless celebrity concerts and used throughout the year for community events. Every year there are new activities and educational opportunities for Colorado citizens and visitors to enjoy.

Wild West EquiFest Horse Expo in Torrington, Wyoming

The Westernaires Varsity Big Red and Cavalry teams will put on a one-hour extravaganza show as part of the Wild West EquiFest Horse Expo. This fantastic event is put on by Operation Remount Corporation and provides a way for veterans and 1st responders to heal while providing an American Mustang a forever home. Through one-on-one gentling and training, veterans and first responders build trusting relationships with their equine companions.

This fundraising event attracts horse enthusiasts and families from the community and surrounding areas. Activities of this one-day festival include: vendors, demonstrations, kids’ activities, concession stands, a live auction, and the one-hour arena performance by Westernaires.

All donations and proceees from concession and auction activities will go to support the mustangs for veterans and first responders program.

This event takes place in the indoor comfort of The Pavillion at Goshen County Fairgrounds in Torrington, Wyoming. The full day of events starts at 9AM, and Westernaires performs at 4PM.
