The Burning Mountain Festival has been a New Castle tradition for decades, and is now New Castle's signature event Taking place over two days in September, the Festival celebrates the town's mining history and is named for their iconic mountain in which a coal seam still burns. This year also marks New Castle's 131st anniversary!
The Westernaires Precisionettes, Cavalry, and Indian Warrior teams will all perform, along with their myriad specialty acts. These riders will participate in the festival's parade on Saturday, September 7th at 10:00AM. Catch them in their arena performance at the Garfield County Fairgrounds on Sunday, September 8th at 1:00PM.
