Photo of Rock

Rock by Laura of Sophomore 9

I had Rock for my first grooming class. He is such a sweetie. I love how he has that adorable snowman on his left side. (that's how you can tell Rock's Rock from all the other paints!)

I've never actually ridden him, but I'm sure he's a great ride.

If I had to sum up Rock in one phrase, it would be "the diamond in the rough".

When he first came to Westernaires with all the paints (Doc, Patches, Lucky, etc), nobody really knew much about him, not even his real age! However, when I had the great pleasure of introducing him to Westernaires I found out how smart and sweet he was. He learned how to do everything within only a couple of weeks!

This little brown and white paint has an incredible amount of controlled speed and really responds to leg pressure well. He would be an amazing Red Team horse, but he has trouble keeping on weight at times.

Rock was my baby boy until I graduated in June '05. I still go out and visit him almost every week and plan on adopting him when he retires.

So, I hope that if you get the chance to ride him, you will because I promise that you will have the ride of your life. He will always hold a special place in my heart.

Rock is one amazing horse here at Westernaires! He is great for liberty, as well as a ride. Rock is a tri-colored Paint. He has a black tail, but a brown and white mane and tail. He has a stripe (or blaze) down his face, and he has very cute eyes.

Rock is one of my favorite horses and I love him to death!

If you ride him, I hope he's as good for you as he is for me!

Rock ROCKS !!!
