II don't know much about Rayo except that he is a "Miracle Horse." About a year or so ago, Rayo coliced very badly and Westernaires was going to have to put him down.

We were going to have to put him down because we can't afford surgery for our horses when they get really sick like Rayo was. Rayo was, at the time, involved in Red Team and his Red Team rider was very upset and sad for Rayo. She spent every day and as much time as she could with him at the vets.

When it was decided that Rayo wouldn't get any better without the help of surgery the command to euthanize him was given. That's when someone, who must have been an angel from god, said "That's a fine horse right there and he doesn't deserve to be put down." This lady offered to pay for surgery for Rayo, a very costly expense, with only a 50/50 chance of the horse surviving. (This lady had also just paid for surgery for her own horse who coliced and unfortunately didn't survive.)

The surgery went well and after a few weeks Rayo was back home and everyone was very happy and grateful for his return. To this day Rayo is still at Westernaires, back in action but currently only running White Division and Liberty.

I don't know about you but I truly believe Rayo is a "Miracle Horse."
