The Director's Chair Mr. Keller's column from the latest issue of Boots and Saddles.		Fort Westernaire is adjacent to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds near Golden, Colorado. It maintains three outdoor arenas and four indoor arenas as well as stables for the string of livery horses it owns and rents out to the members on an hourly basis. Fort Westernaire also houses classrooms, a club store, a museum, a kitchen and caretakers' quarters. Volunteer Arena: 175' x 300' indoor show arena 1,000 seats indoor paddock area The construction of the Volunteer Arena was accomplished with a great deal of help from members and the rest of the community, including fundraising, donations of materials, and skilled and unskilled labor. We have good reason to be proud of what we've done to take Westernaires into the 21st century! In addition to the Volunteer Arena we have three more indoor arenas the Red Arena, White Arena and the Blue Arena.
